Born and raised in Salzburg, Austria I like hikes with a destination and snow in December. 

A year as a high school exchange student in the prairies of southern Alberta, left me with a soft spot for Canada and a deep appreciation for small towns, pick up trucks and hockey. 

I do not like celery and cilantro. 

In my early twenties I met a quizzical Canadian in a dungy student bar in Patras, Greece. We fell madly in love and made Berkeley, CA our home base.

In July 2019, a decade and a half and two kids later we packed up a U-haul and drove it to Victoria, BC to continue our story. 

I love board games, splashing in puddles with my kids and ranunculus. 

I am fiercely loyal.

Some of my favorite places are Vancouver Island, Tuscany and my yoga mat.
